Henkel KGaA / Total voting rights announcement

Total voting rights announcement according to article 26a WpHG, transmitted
by DGAP - a company of EquityStory AG.
The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement.

Due to the re-division of the capital stock (share split in the ratio of
1:3) the number of voting rights has been tripled accordingly. At the end
of the month May 2007 the number of voting rights amounts to a total of
259,795,875 voting rights. The change of the number of voting rights is
effective as of May 21, 2007.
