In accordance with sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG Schroders plc.'s shareholding in
VERBIO Vereinigte BioEnergie AG, Leipzig, Deutschland, went above the 3%
threshold and amounted to 3.24% (equivalent to 2,043,569 shares of
63,000,000 total shares) on 12 June 2007. These voting rights are in their
entirety attributable to Schroders plc. pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1
no. 6 and sent. 2 and 3 WpHG.

In accordance with sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG Schroder Administration Limited's
shareholding in VERBIO Vereinigte BioEnergie AG, Leipzig, Deutschland, went
above the 3% threshold and amounted to 3.24% (equivalent to 2,043,569
shares of 63,000,000 total shares) on 12 June 2007. These voting rights are
in their entirety attributable to Schroder Administration Limited pursuant
to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 and sent. 2 and 3 WpHG.
