Munich, June 26, 2007 – ATON GmbH enlarged its share in the voting rights
for LUDWIG BECK AG (ISIN DE0005199905) and is now holding 906,544 shares
corresponding to 26.98% of the voting rights.

This makes ATON GmbH the largest individual shareholder of LUDWIG BECK AG.

The Executive Board welcomes this development: 'The additional share
purchases of ATON GmbH indicate ATON GmbH’s sustained support of the
company’s strategic orientation', says the Executive Board of LUDWIG BECK
AG.

Since May 25, 2007, ATON GmbH has been represented by Dr. Lutz Helmig in
