Notification pursuant to Article 26 of WpHG (German Securities Trading Act)

On 9th August 2007, Regionalverbandsgesellschaft mbH Berlin notified us in
accordance with Article 21 Section 1, and Article 22 Section 1 Sentence 1
No. 1 of the WpHG on behalf of Erwerbsgesellschaft der S-Finanzgruppe mbH &
Co. KG, Charlottenstraße 47, 10117 Berlin that its holding of voting rights
in MLP AG on 8th August 2007 had exceeded the 3% and 5% thresholds and on
this day amounted to 6.07% (6,595,082 voting rights). The aforementioned
voting rights belong to Landesbank Berlin AG, Berlin. Landesbank Berlin AG,
Berlin, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Landesbank Berlin Holding AG,
Berlin. Erwerbsgesellschaft der S-Finanzgruppe mbH & Co. KG has a 80.95%
holding in Landesbank Berlin Holding AG, Berlin. The aforementioned voting
rights are thus allocated to Erwerbsgesellschaft der S-Finanzgruppe mbH &
Co. KG through Landesbank Berlin AG, Berlin, and Landesbank Berlin Holding
AG, Berlin, in accordance with Article 22 Section 1 Sentence 1 No. 1 in
conjunction with Article 22 Section 1 Sentence 3 of the WpHG to the amount
of 6.07% (6,595,082 voting rights).

Regionalverbandsgesellschaft mbH, Berlin also notified us in accordance
with Article 21 Section 1, and Article 22 Section 1 Sentence 1 No. 1 of the
WpHG that its holding of voting rights in MLP AG on 8th August 2007 had
exceeded the 3% and 5% thresholds and on this day amounted to 6.07%
(6,595,082 voting rights). The aforementioned voting rights belong to the
Landesbank Berlin AG, Berlin, and are allocated to
Regionalverbandsgesellschaft mbH, Berlin through Landesbank Berlin Holding
AG, Berlin and Erwerbsgesellschaft der S-Finanzgruppe mbH & Co. KG, Berlin,
in accordance with Article 22 Section 1 Sentence 1 No. 1 in conjunction
with Article 22 Section 1 Sentence 3 of the WpHG to the amount of 6.07%
(6,595,082 voting rights) since Regionalverbandsgesellschaft mbH is the
sole general partner and owner of all voting rights in Erwerbsgesellschaft
der S-Finanzgruppe mbH & Co. KG.
