Muhyddin Suleiman appointed as new member of the MLP Executive Board

Wiesloch, 4th September 2007 – Muhyddin Suleiman has been appointed to the
MLP AG Executive Board with emmediate effect and will take over
responsibility for sales.

Suleiman previously held the position of divisional board member and has
played a successful role within MLP for over 14 years, working in sales
roles as well as in other management functions. After completing his
studies in business economics and following a period as a financial
consultant at Merrill Lynch, Suleiman positions included an appointment to
the Executive Board of MLP Finanzdienstleistungen AG as well as the former
MLP Vermögensverwaltung AG. Since 2005, he has held responsibility for MLP
sales in the western part of Germany.

In parallel, Dr. Wulf Böttger and the Supervisory Board of MLP AG have
amicably agreed that Böttger will step down from his current position as
Executive Board member of MLP AG for sales. The company management and the
Supervisory Board thank him for his work.
