Reinecke + Pohl Sun Energy AG and First Solar have signed a contract for
the delivery of additional volume of thin-film modules under the scope of
their existing agreements through 2012. The volume allows for additional
system level and project revenue of more than 200 million EUR for RPSE in
the coming five years.

'With the agreed volume we strengthen our position as one of the leading
suppliers of thin-film solar power plants', says Thorsten Preugschas,
member of the Executive Board of Reinecke + Pohl Sun Energy AG.

According to market experts, demand for thin-film modules will increase
above average in the coming years. The reasons are seen in a more
favourable price-performance ratio as well as better efficiency in diffuse
light, which leads in temperate zones often to higher energy output. Due to
the also advantageous temperature coefficient of First Solar modules,
demand also increases in Southern European countries.
