TRADEGATE® extends its European business to coincide with MiFID start.

Cortal Consors is the first French online broker to offer quick,
competitive trading on TRADEGATE®

As MiFID comes into effect all over Europe, a multitude of international
private investors have, for the first time, the opportunity to choose
freely where they send their security orders and can benefit from the
advantages of innovative trading systems. Immediately after the opening up
of the European market for financial instruments in November 2007, the
Tradegate AG Wertpapierhandelsbank starts securities trading on TRADEGATE®
for French private investors.

Cortal Consors is the first French online broker to be connected to the
electronic trading system. Initially French securities from the CAC 40 and
SBF 120 will be traded from 8 am to 10 pm. Next year the service will be
extended to the full choice of worldwide oriented products on TRADEGATE®.
Cortal Consors, which belongs to the French BNP Paribas S.A., and Tradegate
AG Wertpapierhandelsbank have a long been cooperating successfully in
Germany and anticipate keen customer interest in France. Following tried
and tested application in Germany and Austria TRADEGATE® is now extending
its services to further European securities markets.
