Correcting its notification dated November 27, 2007 Franklin Templeton
Investment Management Limited, Edinburgh/ Scotland, Great Britain, has
informed us of the following in accordance with Article 21, Section 1 WpHG
in conjunction with Article 22, Section 1, Sent. 1, No. 6 WpHG:

Franklin Templeton Investment Management Limited has reached and decreased
below the threshold of 3 % of voting rights in JENOPTIK AG on November 27,
2007. Franklin Templeton Investment Management Limited holds 2.82 % of the
voting rights (1,465,662 shares). All these voting rights are attributable
to Franklin Templeton Investment Management Limited in accordance with
Article 22, Section 1, Sent. 1, No. 6 WpHG.
