Franklin Templeton Investment Funds, Luxembourg, Luxembourg, has informed
us that its share of voting rights in JENOPTIK AG has reached and decreased
the threshold of 3 % on December 18, 2007. Franklin Templeton Investment
Funds holds 2.99 % of the voting rights (1,554,840 shares).
All these voting rights are attributable to Franklin Templeton Investment
Funds in accordance with Article 22, Section 1, Sent. 1, No. 6 WpHG.
