A-Tec Industries AG, Vienna, Austria, has advised us on 27 December 2007 in
accordance with Sections §§ 21 par. 1, 22 par. 1, 24 German Securities
Trade Act (WPHG) that its subsidiary A-TEC Minerals & Metals Holding GmbH,
Vienna, Austria acquired all the shares from its subsidiary A-Tec
Investment GmbH, Düsseldorf, Germany, on 21 December 2007 as part of a
intragroup reorganisation.

Thus, the voting interest of the subsidiary A-Tec Minerals & Metals Holding
GmbH in Norddeutsche Affinerie Aktiengesellschaft, Hamburg, Germany, ISIN:
DE0006766504, WKN: 676650, exceeded the threshold of 3 %, 5 % and 10 % on
21 December 2007 and amounted to 10,26 % on that day. This corresponds to
4,192,072 votes. A-Tec Minerals & Metals Holding GmbH is attributed 10.26 %
of the voting rights (4,192,072 votes) in accordance with Section 22 par. 1
S. 1 No. 1 German Securities Trade Act (WpHG).
