its share of voting rights in JENOPTIK AG has reached and exceeded the
threshold of 3 % on May 8, 2008. Franklin Templeton Investments Corp. holds
3.35 % of the voting rights (1,741,506 shares).
All these voting rights are attributable to Franklin Templeton Investments
Corp. in accordance with Article 22, Section 1, Sent. 1, No. 6 WpHG.
