Notification pursuant to Article 26, Section 1 of the German Securities
Trading Act (WpHG)

Harris Associates Inc., Chicago, Illinois 60602, USA notified us in
accordance with Article 21, Section 1 of the German Securities Trading Act
(WpHG) that on May 19, 2008 its holding of voting rights in MLP AG,
Wiesloch, Germany surpassed the threshold of 10 % and now totals 9.84 %
(corresponding to 9,646,572 voting rights). The voting rights are
attributable to Harris Associates Inc. in accordance with Article 22,
Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in conjunction with Article 22, Section 1,
Sentence 2 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG).

Furthermore, Harris Associates L.P., Chicago, Illinois 60602, USA notified
us in accordance with Article 21, Section 1 of the German Securities
Trading Act (WpHG) that on May 19, 2008 its holding of voting rights in MLP
AG, Wiesloch, Germany surpassed the threshold of 10 % and now totals 9.84 %
(corresponding to 9,646,572 voting rights). The voting rights are
attributable to Harris Associates L.P. in accordance with Article 22,
Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG).
