New Chairmann, new Deputy Chairmann of the supervisory board

May 27, 2008

Today the Supervisory Board of Silicon Sensor International AG has elected
without a dissentient vote as Chairman of the Supervisory Board Mr. Ernst
Hofmann and as Deputy Chairman Dr. sc. nat. Dietmar Roth. Mr. Ernst
Hofmann, business consultant, Wiesbaden, has been member of the Supervisory
Board of Silicon Sensor International AG since 2002. Dr. Dietmar Roth, CEO
of Roth & Rau AG, Hohenstein-Ernstthal, has been member of the Supervisory
Board since the Annual General Meeting in 2007.

Simultaneously the Supervisory Board has resolved to support the
complementary application to elect Dr. Harald Rieger as additional member
of the Supervisory Board of the company in the next Annual General Meeting.
Upon other terms Dr. Rieger has experience in industries of more than 30
years and thus will complement the Supervisory Board brilliantly.
