On 4 July 2008 FIL Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda fell below the threshold of 3
% of the voting rights in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft, Bochum, Germany. On
that date, FIL Limited held 2.96 % of the voting rights in GEA Group
Aktiengesellschaft arising from 5,438,711 voting rights. All voting rights
in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft were attributed to FIL Limited pursuant to
section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG.

On 7 July 2008, FIL Investment Management Limited (until June 30th, 2008
trading under Fidelity Investment Management Limited) informed us as
follows:

On 4 July 2008 FIL Investment Management Limited, Hildenborough, England
fell below the threshold of 3 % of the voting rights in GEA Group
Aktiengesellschaft, Bochum, Germany. On that date, FIL Investment
Management Limited held 2.96 % of the voting rights in GEA Group
Aktiengesellschaft arising from 5,438,711 voting rights. All voting rights
in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft were attributed to FIL Investment
Management Limited pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6 in connection
with sent. 2 WpHG.

trading under Fidelity Investments International) informed us as follows:

On 4 July 2008 FIL Investments International, Hildenborough, England fell
below the threshold of 3 % of the voting rights in GEA Group
Aktiengesellschaft, Bochum, Germany. On that date, FIL Investments
International held 2.95 % of the voting rights in GEA Group
Aktiengesellschaft arising from 5,422,651 voting rights. All voting rights
in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft were attributed to FIL Investments
International pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG.
