ARQUES appoints new Head of Finance

• Gregor Schwarzfischer previously auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers
responsible for the ARQUES Group

controlling

ARQUES Industries AG (ISIN DE005156004) has appointed Gregor Schwarzfischer
(42) as Head of Finance with effect from September 1, 2008. Since 2005
Gregor Schwarzfischer was overall responsible for the auditing of the
annual financial statements of the group and the company of ARQUES
Industries AG at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Based on his unique knowledge of
the group, he is predestined for this important managerial function within
the group where he will be responsible for the financial, accounting and
controlling divisions.

the ideal candidate for this position. Due to his specialised knowledge as
tax consultant and auditor as well as his unique expertise as the auditor
responsible for our group during the past three years, Mr. Schwarzfischer
can already implement his know-how from the outset at ARQUES', said Dr.
