As of September 1 2008, Anna-Maria Schneider has taken over management of
the Investor Relations department of the 'VERBIO Vereinigte BioEnergie AG',
where she will provide consulting services for analysts, institutional
investors and private investors. She is also responsible for organisation
of the Executive Office.

The 32-year-old business graduate studied business management at the
'Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft' in Dresden and has over seven years
experience in controlling and capital markets. In addition to her corporate
controlling tasks, she was also active as the Investor Relations Manager at
ad pepper media International N.V., where she provided consulting services
for domestic and foreign investors and analysts. She switched to VERBIO in
October 2006, where she took over management of the Executive Office and,
after the company was listed on the stock exchange, she was also active in
the Investor Relations department.

VERBIO is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of biofuels such
as Bio-diesel and Bio-ethanol. VERBIO shares (ISIN DE000A0JL9W6 / WKN
A0JL9W) have been listed in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock
Exchange since October 2006.
