Barclays Global Investors UK Holdings Ltd., London, UK informed us that
they revoke its notification dated 11 April 2008 and its correction dated
16 April 2008, regarding Allianz SE, Munich Germany, made public on 18
April 2008 as at the time stated in the notification, no thresholds had
been reached and thus no obligation of notification existed.

This notification is based on the fact that Barclays Global Investors UK
Holdings Ltd. fulfils the requirements of § 32 para. 2 through 4 InvG, § 22
para. 3a WpHG, § 29a para. 3 WpHG.
