threshold of
3 % of the voting rights in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft, Bochum, Germany.
On that date, FIL Limited held 2.79 % of the voting rights in GEA Group
Aktiengesellschaft arising from 5,142,697 voting rights. All voting rights
in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft were attributed to FIL Limited pursuant to
section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG.

On 22 September 2008, FIL Investments International informed us as follows:

On 19 September 2008, FIL Investments International, Hildenborough, England
fell below the threshold of 3 % of the voting rights in GEA Group
Aktiengesellschaft, Bochum, Germany. On that date, FIL Investments
International held 2.79 % of the voting rights in GEA Group
Aktiengesellschaft arising from 5,142,697 voting rights. All voting rights
in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft were attributed to FIL Investments
International pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG.
