On September 25, 2008, UBS AG, Zuerich, Switzerland has informed us
according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via purchase of shares
its voting rights on Hannover Rückversicherung AG, Hannover, Germany, ISIN:
DE0008402215, WKN: 840221 have exceeded the 3% limit of the voting rights
on September 19, 2008 and amounted to 4.74% (this corresponds to 5,718,277
voting rights) at that time. In addition, according to Article 22, Section
1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, 0.05% of the voting rights (this
corresponds to 63,463 voting rights) had to be attributed to the company at
that time. The total voting rights amounted to 4.79% (this corresponds to
5,781,740 voting rights).
