Islands has notified us on 26 September 2008:

We herewith notify you according to sec. 211 German Securities Trading Act
(WpHG) that Lincoln Vale European Partners GP LLC's share of voting rights
of Arques Industries AG has passed the thresholds of 3% and 5% on 16
September 2008 and on this very day amounts to 5,29% (1.398.067 voting
rights).

Of these 5,29% (1,398,067 voting rights) 1,65% (436,000 voting rights) are
attributed pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG and 3,64%
(962,067 voting rights) are attributed to Lincoln Vale European Partners GP
LLC. pursunat to sec. 22 para. 2 WpHG.
