LUDWIG BECK generates clear sales plus in the third quarter of 2008

Ludwig Beck am Rathauseck-Textilhaus Feldmeier AG / Development of Sales

Release of a Corporate News, transmitted by DGAP - a company of EquityStory
AG.

Correction of Corporate News of October 8, 2008: Accidentally, a branch
adjusted gross sales of 16.0 % for the third quarter 2008 was published
instead of 13.3 %.

Munich, October 8, 2008: The Munich fashion house LUDWIG BECK AG (ISIN DE
0005199905) generated revenues in the amount of € 69.5m in the first nine
months of the fiscal year 2008 thus reaching last year’s level (€ 69.5m).
Adjusted for a branch dissolved in the previous year, this equals a 2.4 %
increase in comparison to the preceding year.

LUDWIG BECK was clearly able to disconnect from the general development
trend of the textile retail branch, which according to TextilWirtschaft had
to put up with a 4 % decline in sales in the period between January and
September 2008.

From July to September 2008, LUDWIG BECK attained a gross turnover in the
amount of € 25.7m thus gaining 10.4 % in comparison to the same period in
the previous year (€ 23.2m). Branch adjusted gross sales even went up more
distinctly, i.e. by 13.3 %.

'We are glad that the volume of revenues could be distinctly increased in
the third quarter of 2008', Dieter Münch, Member of the Executive Board of
LUDWIG BECK AG explains. 'This result is especially noteworthy against the
background of an ailing economy marked by the international financial
crisis, and it shows us that our trading up strategy is the right path to
follow. Our customers were not made unsure by the disruptions of the
financial markets and are still enjoying the very special shopping
experience provided by our ’Store of the Senses’ at Munich’s Marienplatz',
Münch continues.

A comprehensive presentation of the financial figures for the first nine
months of 2008 will be published on October 21, 2008.
