On 20 October 2008, Hermes Administration Services Limited informed us as
follows:

The notification of 5 October 2007 (released at 22 October 2007) shall be
amended as follows:
On 2 October 2007 the voting interest held by Hermes European Focus Fund I,
London, England, in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft, Bochum, Germany, fell
below the 3% threshold of § 21 para. 1 WpHG and amounted to 2.97% of the
voting rights (i.e. 5,588,523 shares with voting rights) on that day.
All of these 2.97% of the voting rights (i.e. 5,588,523 shares with voting
rights) in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft were attributed to Hermes European
Focus Fund I pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 2 WpHG. All of these
2.97% of the voting rights were held directly by Chase Nominees Limited,
London, England.

The notification of 15 January 2008 (released at 15 January 2008) shall be
amended as follows:
On 9 January 2008 the voting interest held by Hermes European Focus Fund I,
London, England, in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft, Bochum, Germany,
increased above the 3% threshold of § 21 para. 1 WpHG and amounted to
3.075% of the voting rights (i.e. 5,658,122 shares with voting rights) on
that day.
All of these 3.075% of the voting rights (i.e. 5,658,122 shares with voting
rights) in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft were attributed to Hermes European
Focus Fund I pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 2 WpHG. All of these
3.075% of the voting rights were held directly by Chase Nominees Limited,
London, England.

On 14 February 2008 the voting interest held by Hermes European Focus Fund
I, London, England, in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft, Bochum, Germany, fell
below the 3% threshold of § 21 para. 1 WpHG and amounted to 2.937% of the
voting rights (i.e. 5,403,661 shares with voting rights) on that day.
All of these 2.937% of the voting rights (i.e. 5,403,661 shares with voting
rights) in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft were attributed to Hermes European
Focus Fund I pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 2 WpHG. All of these
2.937% of the voting rights were held directly by Chase Nominees Limited,

On 15 April 2008 the voting interest held by Hermes Focus Asset Management
Europe Limited, London, England, in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft, Bochum,
Germany, fell below the 3% threshold of § 21 para. 1 WpHG and amounted to
2.956% of the voting rights (i.e. 5,439,239 shares with voting rights) on
that day.
All of these 2.956% of the voting rights (i.e. 5,439,239 shares with voting
rights) in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft were attributed to Hermes Focus
Asset Management Europe Limited pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG
and § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 2 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG. All of
these 2.956% of the voting rights were held directly by Chase Nominees
Limited, London, England.

On 15 April 2008 the voting interest held by Hermes Focus Asset Management
Limited, London, England, in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft, Bochum, Germany,
fell below the 3% threshold of § 21 para. 1 WpHG and amounted to 2.956% of
the voting rights (i.e. 5,439,239 shares with voting rights) on that day.
All of these 2.956% of the voting rights (i.e. 5,439,239 shares with voting
rights) in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft were attributed to Hermes Focus
Asset Management Limited pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 2 in
connection with sent. 2 WpHG. All of these 2.956% of the voting rights
were held directly by Chase Nominees Limited, London, England.

On 25 April 2008 the voting interest held by BT Pension Scheme Trustees
Limited, London, England, in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft, Bochum, Germany,
fell below the 3% threshold of § 21 para. 1 WpHG and amounted to 2.983% of
the voting rights (i.e. 5,488,824 shares with voting rights) on that day.
All of these 2.983% of the voting rights (i.e. 5,488,824 shares with voting
rights) in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft were attributed to BT Pension
Scheme Trustees Limited pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 in
connection with § 22 para. 1 sent. 2 WpHG. 2.549% of these shares (i.e.
4,688,966 shares with voting rights) were also attributed pursuant to § 22
para. 1 sent. 1 no. 2 in connection with § 22 para. 1 sent. 2 WpHG and were
held directly by Chase Nominees Limited, London, England.
0.038% of the voting rights (i.e. 70,227 shares with voting rights) were

London, England, in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft, Bochum, Germany, fell
below the 3% threshold of § 21 para. 1 WpHG and amounted to 2.983% of the
voting rights (i.e. 5,488,824 shares with voting rights) on that day.
All of these 2.983% of the voting rights (i.e. 5,488,824 shares with voting
rights) in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft were attributed to BriTel Fund
Trustees Limited pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 in connection with
§ 22 para. 1 sent. 2 WpHG. 2.549% of these shares (i.e. 4,688,966 shares
with voting rights) were also attributed pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1
no. 2 in connection with § 22 para. 1 sent. 2 WpHG and were held directly
