WpHG Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company has informed us today that
Oppenheimer Funds, Centennial, CO, USA, has reached and exceeded the
threshold of 3% of voting rights in JENOPTIK AG on October 27, 2008.
Oppenheimer Funds holds 3.04 % of the voting rights (1,584,347 shares).

In addition, Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, Springfield, MA,
USA, has informed us that its share of voting rights in JENOPTIK AG has
reached and exceeded the threshold of 3% on October 27, 2008. Massachusetts
Mutual Life Insurance Company holds 3,04 % of the voting rights (1,584,347
shares).
3.04% of the voting rights (1,584,347 shares) are attributable to it
through its subsidiary Oppenheimer Funds in accordance with Article 22,
Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 WpHG.
