Hamburg, November 24, 2008 – Effective January 15, the Supervisory Board
has appointed Dr. Stefan Gross-Selbeck as the new CEO of XING AG (O1BC /
ISIN DE000XNG888). Lars Hinrichs, the founder and current CEO of XING, will
become a member of the Supervisory Board. Hinrichs has very successfully
managed XING over the past five years, establishing the company as the
European market leader in online business networking.

Lars Hinrichs’ successor, Dr. Stefan Gross-Selbeck, has extensive
experience in web-based businesses and brings particular expertise in both
B2B and consumer applications. As CEO of XING AG, he will continue the
company’s international growth strategy and strengthen the structures
necessary for the next stages of the company’s development. In his previous
role as the head of e-Bay Germany, Dr. Gross-Selbeck successfully managed
strong growth and developed the German market to become the biggest and
most important e-Bay market outside the U.S.. Today Germany is the e-Bay
market with the highest reach worldwide. Before joining e-Bay, he was
General Manager of Kirch Intermedia (today trading as SevenOne Intermedia).
During a brief transition phase, Dr. Stefan Groß-Selbeck will be closely
cooperating with Lars Hinrichs.

For the third quarter 2008, on the occasion of the company’s fifth
anniversary, XING reported record figures for the number of users, sales
revenues and earnings. XING has more than 6.5 million members across the
globe and. In addition to its Hamburg head office, operates out of several
international locations, including Barcelona, Istanbul and Beijing.
