SUSS MicroTec AG Receives Commitment for New Credit Line Amounting to EUR 6
Million

Munich, Germany, December 10, 2008. SUSS MicroTec (business address:
Schleissheimer Straße 90, 85748 Garching, Germany; ISIN: DE0007226706),
listed in the Prime Standard of Deutsche Börse AG, announced today that it
has received commitment for a new credit line amounting to EUR 6 million.
The credit line is being provided by two of three previous consortium banks
and will be guaranteed without covenants until March 31, 2009. Its further
prolongation is dependent upon meeting the communicated guidance for 2008
as well as the submission of the updated budget for the 2009 fiscal year.
This credit line replaces the domestic credit line which expired as of
September 30, 2008, and is especially intended to serve as security for
down payment guarantees.

As of December 8, 2008, the SUSS MicroTec Group possessed liquid assets
amounting to EUR 18.1 million. At that time, the net cash position totaled
EUR 4.2 million.
