Invesco Perpetual, Henley-on-Thames, United Kingdom, hat uns mit Schreiben
vom 12. Januar 2009 die folgende Mitteilung gemacht:

'We hereby give notice, pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1 of the WpHG that on 15
December 2008, the voting interest of Invesco Ltd., London, United Kingdom,
in Bilfinger Berger AG exceeded the threshold of 5% and amounted to 5.35%
(1,990,626 voting rights) on this day.

5.35% of the voting rights (1,990,626 shares) are attributable to Invesco
Ltd., in accordance with section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 of the WpHG.'
