Hamburg 27. January 2009. COLEXON, a leading developer of thin-film PV
power plants, and tnp, an investment company with focus on renewable
energy, have signed a contract for development and construction of turnkey
solar power plants of at least 15 MWp. According to the framework
agreement, COLEXON will offer tnp at least 10 MWp solar projects until
2010. In return tnp is obliged to acquire up to 15 MWp but at least 7 MWp
of solar projects depending on the amount of equity the investment company
will be able to rise.
On top of this framework contract both parties have signed an agreement for
the placement of solar projects from the Wiesenhof-portfolio of 5 MWp. With
this step in the beginning of 2009, COLEXON has already placed one fourth
of the Wiesenhof rooftop projects, which have been secured in December
2008. The roof top projects of the Wiesenhof-portfolio will be delivered
and grid connected until the end of 2009. Following these agreements with a
sales volume of at least 40 Million Euros, both parties show great interest
to realize additional projects.
Thorsten Preugschas, CEO of the COLEXON Energy AG, is looking forward to
this cooperation and sees it as an important step to further strengthen the
sustainable positive development of the COLEXON group: 'In tnp we have
found an important long-term strategic partner. This cooperation shows that
in the current market environment investors are still eager to invest in
companies with a sustainable and long-term business strategy that secures a
stable development.'
Jan Treu, management board of tnp Mitteldeutsche Anlagen Leasing AG, sees
the cooperation as an important step in the development of the tnp-group:
'With this framework agreement we have gained an important strategic
partner for a long-term cooperation in the sector of regenerative energy.
The cooperation with COLEXON allows us to strengthen our growth in this
segment. With the investment in solar parks investors have the opportunity
to gain returns independently of the development at the capital markets.
The current market conditions support this trend.'
