Berlin, 11 February 2009 – ESTAVIS AG (ISIN: DE000A0KFKB3) announced today
the cancellation of a portfolio transaction amounting to EUR 44 million.
The transaction closed on 30 June 2008 was subject to the condition that
the buyers financing will be approved. The investor has cancelled the
agreement as the financing could not be established.

For this reason, ESTAVIS AG expects not to achieve the sales and earnings
target issued for the current fiscal year 2008/2009.

The board of management of ESTAVIS AG continues to expect to sell more than
1,000 apartments to private investors during the current fiscal year.
