Raiffeisen International Bank-Holding AG announces its preliminary results
for the full year 2008. Despite difficult operating conditions for the
banking industry, in particular in the fourth quarter,
Raiffeisen International has fully met its full year 2008 profit guidance.
The decision to publish the preliminary results was made due to the current
uncertain market conditions. The information contained in this release is
based on unaudited figures.

analyst conference where the management board will present the
Raiffeisen International Annual Report 2008 as well as further details.
