follows:

On 18 February 2009 the voting interest held by Hermes Focus Asset
Management Europe Limited, London, England, in GEA Group
Aktiengesellschaft, Bochum, Germany, fell below the 3 % threshold of § 21
para. 1 WpHG and amounted to 2.971 % of the voting rights (i.e. 5,461,071
shares with voting rights) on that day.
All of these 2.971 % of the voting rights (i.e. 5,461,071 shares with
voting rights) in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft werde attributed to Hermes
Focus Asset Management Europe Limited pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no.
6 WpHG and § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 2 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG. All
of these voting rights were held directly by Chase Nominees Limited,
London, England.

On 18 February 2009 the voting interest held by Hermes Focus Asset
Management Limited, London, England, in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft,
