Capital increase strengthen further growth

Silicon Sensor International AG intends to conduct a capital increase up to
520.420 shares with entitlement to dividend from January 1, 2009.

The management and the board of directors of the company have resolved
today to increase the principal of the company by cash contribution. The
capital increase will be conducted with subscription right of the existing
shareholders but without tradability of subscription rights and with
intermediation of a private bank, placing the shares at shareholders. The
issue price of the new shares will be Euro 4.80.

The funds from the capital increase strengthen the financial funds of
Silicon Sensor International AG for the planned future growth.
