Starnberg, March 06, 2009 - ARQUES Industries AG (ISIN DE0005156004),
Starnberg (Germany), has sold its subsidiary Rohé, Vienna (Austria). The
buyer is the private equity company ValueNet Capital Partners, Munich, who
will continue the restructuring of Rohé with the current management. ARQUES
acquired the Rohé group in October 2007. Both sides are bound to secrecy
concerning further details of the transaction. Securing the financing and
the jobs will be essentially for further restructuring measures at Rohé.
Through this exit ARQUES will have to account for extraordinary
depreciation in the low single-digit range in its annual figures for
financial year 2008.

The internationally-active Rohé Group (Turnover 2008: approximately EUR 110
mill.) specializes in services for gas stations. Within the restructuring
of Rohé, ARQUES amongst others optimized the internal processes of the
regional companies, installed a Group-wide IT system and forced the
expansion into the regional growing markets in Eastern Europe.

ARQUES announces, to publish preliminary figures for fiscal year 2008 on
March 12.
