At its regular meeting on Friday, the Board of Directors of SAF-HOLLAND
S.A., Luxembourg, elected Bernhard Schneider, 64, as its new chairman. A
member of the Board since June 2007, he takes over from Dr. Rolf Bartke,
who resigned on January 31, 2009.

Business studies graduate (Diplom Kaufmann) Bernhard Schneider has been
Managing Director of Mediaprint Zeitungs- und Zeitschriftenverlag GmbH
since 2007. He previously spent many years in positions of responsibility
in the automotive supplies industry and among others as Executive Vice
President of Mannesmann Holding, New York, and as CFO of Mannesmann
Röhrenwerke AG.
