Notification pursuant to Article 26, Section 1 of the German Securities
Trading Act (WpHG)

Swiss Life Beteiligungs GmbH, Hanover, Germany notified us in accordance
with Article 21, Section 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG)
that on April 1, 2009 its holding of voting rights in MLP AG, Wiesloch,
Germany fell below the threshold of 20 % and now totals 15.90 %
(corresponding to 17,152,556 voting rights).

Swiss Life Holding AG, Zurich, Switzerland notified us in accordance with
Article 21, Section 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) that on
April 1, 2009 its holding of voting rights in MLP AG, Wiesloch, Germany
fell below the threshold of 20 % and now totals 15.90 % (corresponding to
17,152,556 voting rights). The voting rights are attributable to Swiss Life
Holding AG in accordance with Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, Number 1
of WpHG.
