according to §§ 21, 22 WpHG that on 29 April 2009 the voting rights of
Barclays Global Investors NA, San Francisco, United States, in GEA Group
Aktiengesellschaft, Bochum, Germany, exceeded the 3% threshold of § 21
para. 1 WpHG. At that time Barclays Global Investors NA held 3.085 % of the
voting rights (i. e. 5,670,266 shares with voting rights) in GEA Group
