Uns wurde mit Schreiben vom 9. Juni 2009 folgendes mitgeteilt:

Macquarie Bank Limited, Sydney, Australia, gives notice pursuant to sec. 21
para. 1 WpHG (German Securities Trading Act) that on June 3, 2009 the
voting rights in MTU Aero Engines Holding AG exceeded the threshold of 3%
and amounted to 3.46% (1,800,477 voting rights) on this day. These voting
rights are in their entirety attributable to Macquarie Bank Limited.

Further, Macquarie BH Pty Limited, Sydney, Australia, gives notice pursuant
to sec. 21 para. 1, 22 para. 1 sent. 1 WpHG that on June 3, 2009 the voting
rights in MTU Aero Engines Holding AG exceeded the threshold of 3% and
amounted to 3.46% (1,800,477 voting rights) on this day, whereby the
aforementioned voting rights have to be attributed pursuant to sec. 22
para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG from Macquarie Bank Limited.

Furthermore, Macquarie Group Limited, Sydney, Australia, gives notice
pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1, 22 para. 1 sent. 1 WpHG that on June 3, 2009
the voting rights in MTU Aero Engines Holding AG exceeded the threshold of
3% and amounted to 3.46% (1,800,477 voting rights) on this day, whereby the
aforementioned voting rights have to be attributed pursuant to sec. 22
para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG from Macquarie BH Pty Limited.
