Berlin, 22 June 2009 - In its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of
ESTAVIS AG appointed Mr. Florian Lanz (34) as the new Chairman of the
Management Board effective 1 July 2009. In this function, Mr. Lanz will
strengthen and expand the strategic focus on business with institutional
and private investors.

Mr. Lanz is currently the managing director of a development company for
residential property. Until May 2008, Mr. Lanz had for several years been
the managing director of a nationwide German property company that he had
founded as a joint venture with a group of renowned international
investors. During this time, Mr. Lanz was responsible for capital
procurement and the purchase, financing and management of around 35,000
units with a volume of over EUR 2.2 billion. After studying at the
University of St. Gallen, Mr. Lanz worked for several years in the field of
corporate finance before founding and successfully managing his own
property company.

The current Chairman of the Management Board, Mr. Rainer Schorr, will not
be extending his contract, which expires on 30 June 2009, for personal
reasons and is intending to move to the Supervisory Board of ESTAVIS AG. In
this function and as the main shareholder, Mr. Schorr will continue his
close relationship with the Company.
