Lottery Sector / New Orders Increase Foreign Turnover to over One Million
Euros

adesso AG records further success in the context of its strategy of
internationalization. adesso has been commissioned by the state lottery
company of Estonia, 'Eesti Loto', to implement a new web-based gaming
platform. In the meantime, with the help of adesso, the Swiss lottery
company 'Swisslos' expanded the gaming portfolio of their internet gaming
platform with interactive instant games. In both projects, adesso's
solution 'in|FOCUS' is being applied as the basis system. The new
international projects raise the foreign turnover of adesso in the lottery
business to over one million Euros.

The further international expansion of adesso is one part of the growth
strategy which supports the company's intention to expand into one of
Central Europe's leading IT consulting companies. Besides the extension of
its project business covering the German-speaking area, adesso selectively
opens up to other European countries and also acquires consulting and
development projects in more distant regions due to its specialized
expertise. Estonia and Russia are only two examples that demonstrate this
trend.

In the Eesti Loto project adesso takes over the tasks of project
management, software development and design of the web interface. The
adesso in-house solution in|FOCUS for multi-channel distribution is being
used as the basis system. The use of the system at Eesti Loto will be the
fifth installation of this solution and is thereby increasingly emerging as
a standard for the direct marketing of lottery products. The platform is
going to replace the existing system for online gaming by early 2010. With
the project, the lottery company aims for the expansion of its business as
well as it wants to open up to new online sales channels. Especially with
regard to the upcoming liberalization of the Estonian lottery market, Eesti
Loto selected adesso due to its expertise in developing service-oriented
and transaction-safe software systems.

The adesso know-how concerning the web-based lottery business as well as
the flexibility of the adesso solution in|FOCUS Instant also convinced
Swisslos. adesso won the tender process for realizing the project 'Instant
Gaming Plattform'. The platform successfully administers and distributes
the Swisslos instant gaming products since midyear 2009. Here, the solution
had been completely integrated into the existing IT
infrastructure.
