Gregor Pottmeyer has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of
Deutsche Börse AG. The Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG took that
decision on Friday. Pottmeyer's appointment to the Executive Board will
start on 1 October 2009.

Last Pottmeyer (46) was member of the Executive Board of Mercedes Benz Bank
AG responsible for Finance and Risk Management.
