Starnberg, July 22, 2009. The Supervisory Board has appointed Michael
Hütten (53 years), graduate in business administration, as member of the
Executive Board for the duration of 3 years with effect July 21, 2009.
Hereby the ARQUES Executive Board consists of four persons having equal
rights.

The main focus of Michael Hüttens successful career is on controlling and
restructuring. He was member of the Executive Board at Klöckner & Co. AG,
Duisburg, member of the management board at Metro Cash & Carry GmbH,
Düsseldorf, and chief financial officer at Bombardier Transportation,
Berlin. Currently he works as a management consultant. In the Executive
Board Michael Hütten is responsible for strategy and business development.
