Bochum, July 28, 2009 - GEA Group has received, in its Process Technology
Segment, an order from Nestlé about EUR 9 million to build the liquid
processing part of a Growing-Up Milk plant in Chile. The new plant will be
located near Osorno. The project will start in July 2009, installation will
begin in spring 2010 and the plant shall be finalized by early 2011.

GEA TDS will have the project management for the liquid processing,
together with an active support by Nestlé PTC Konolfingen / Switzerland.
The plant will be built with the latest available process technology and
know-how for achieving a safe and efficient production. Apart from project
management, GEA TDS will be also responsible for the sanitary design, the
process automation, installation and commissioning of all liquid processing
parts, evaporation system, butter oil plant and the CIP unit.
