Kölleda, 28 July 2009. In its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of
Funkwerk AG appointed Johann Schmid-Davis (35, MBA) as the new CFO.
Effective from 1 September 2009, Schmid-Davis will take over the function
of Norbert Gunkler, who will resign from the Executive Board on termination
of his contract at the end of August 2009 to take on new duties and
responsibilities. The Supervisory Board thanked Norbert Gunkler for his
many years of successful work. At the request of the Supervisory Board,
Norbert Gunkler will continue to be available to the company in an advisory
capacity.

At the same time, the Supervisory Board decided to reduce the Executive
Board of Funkwerk AG by two members. Consequently, the contract of Lutz
Pfister will also terminate at the end of August, who will continue,
however, as head of the Automotive Communication segment.

Johann Schmid-Davis joined Funkwerk in 2003 and has since proven himself in
various roles in business management. Most recently, he was responsible for
the successful restructuring of the Enterprise Com-munication segment. On
the Executive Board of Funkwerk AG, Schmid-Davis will now be in charge of
Planning, Finance and Controlling and continue to manage the affairs of
Enterprise Communication.
