ARQUES sells Actebis Group to Droege Capital

Starnberg, August 5, 2009. ARQUES Industries AG (ISIN DE0005156004),
Starnberg, has sold the ICT distributor, Actebis, Soest, to Droege Capital
GmbH, Düsseldorf. The final purchase price depends on the development of
the Actebis Group and amounts to at least EUR 40 million. The transaction
is subject to the approval of, among others, the cartel authorities.

CFO and new chairman of the executive board, Hans Gisbert Ulmke, expressed
his satisfaction with the transaction. 'This is a further consistent step
in the realignment of the portfolio. The group's debt position and the risk
profile of ARQUES Industries AG are clearly reduced and the equity capital
ratio is improved.'

The Actebis Group is the third largest ICT distributor (information and
telecommunication technology) in Europe and distributes information and
telecommunication technology products, mobile communication and
entertainment electronics. The Actebis Group has belonged to the ARQUES
Group since the summer of 2007 and is represented with its own national
subsidiaries in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Austria as well as
Denmark, Norway and Sweden. In addition, the German telecommunications
distributor, NT plus, is also part of the Actebis Group.

The buyer, Droege Capital GmbH (formerly DIC Capital), Düsseldorf, is a
subsidiary of Droege International Group AG. Droege Capital sees the
purchase as a long-term investment. Based on a buy and build strategy
Actebis' market position is to be developed and the course set for further
growth.
