ARQUES Industries AG: Dr. Georg Obermeier Chairman of Supervisory Board

Munich, 16.09.2009 In its constituent meeting on September 16, 2009 the
supervisory board of ARQUES Industries AG (ISIN DE0005156004) elected Dr.
Georg Obermeier as chairman and Jean-François Borde as deputy chairman of
the supervisory board.

The supervisory board is being completed by Dr. Rudolf Falter, Bernhard
Riedel, David Hersh and Antoine Dréan.

board. The composition of seasoned supervisory board members as well as the
new members who will contribute their private equity industry expertise to
