CFC Industriebeteiligungen sells Format-Küchen and focuses on core business

Dortmund, 2 October 2009

CFC Industriebeteiligungen GmbH & Co. KGaA (ISIN: DE000A0LBKW6), Dortmund,
has sold effectively September 30, 2009 its 45.9% stake in Format-Küchen
GmbH & Co. KG, Haiger, to HIC Investitionen und Consulting GmbH, Kerpen.
The parties have agreed to maintain confidentiality on the purchase price.
CFC Industriebeteiligungen expects no financial impact from this
transaction.

Format-Küchen was sold because its business was considered non-core of CFCs
segment Home & Living.
