CFC Industriebeteiligungen: Berndes wins another major contract in its
realigned product area and enters into an important strategic alliance.

CFC Industriebeteiligungen GmbH & Co. KGaA (ISIN: DE000A0LBKW6) can already
report a number of additional successes shortly after deciding to
concentrate on the core areas of Electronics and Home & Living.

Its affiliate Berndes has won an important major project in the cutlery
area, thereby ensuring its future growth. Cutlery is a new business area
for Berndes, and sales for this initial major project will already be in
the significant seven-figure euro range. This business area will be
developed further in the future, and will contribute to diversification in
terms of markets and product range.

Berndes has also entered into a strategic alliance in the production area
with a leading European partner that produces induction cookware. This
allows Berndes to offer another high-performance induction solution to the
market. Berndes receives both technology and cost advantages from the
alliance, and secures a unique position for itself in this segment of its
core market.
