On 15 October 2009 Barclays Global Investors UK Holdings Ltd, London,
England, has informed us according to §§ 21, 22 WpHG that Barclays Global
Investors NA, San Francisco, USA, felt below the 3 % threshold of § 21
para. 1 WpHG on 6 October 2009, and at that time held 2.99 % of the voting
rights (i.e. 1,222,269 shares with voting rights) in Aurubis AG.

Barclays Global Investors NA was attributed 2.94 % of the voting rights
(i.e. 1,201,117 shares representing voting rights) of these 2.99 % of the
voting rights (i.e. 1,222,269 shares representing voting rights) in Aurubis
AG pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG and 0.05 % of the voting
rights (i.e. 21,152 shares representing voting rights) of these 2.99 %

On 15 October 2009 Barclays Global Investors UK Holdings Ltd, London,
England, has informed us according to §§ 21, 22 WpHG that Barclays Global
Investors NA, San Francisco, USA, crossed the 3 % threshold of § 21 para. 1
WpHG on 7 October 2009, and at that time held 3.0035 % of the voting rights
(i.e. 1,227,530 shares with voting rights) in Aurubis AG.

Barclays Global Investors NA was attributed 2.95 % of the voting rights
(i.e. 1,206,378 shares representing voting rights) of these 3.0035 % of the
voting rights (i.e. 1,227,530 shares representing voting rights) in Aurubis
AG pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG and 0.05 % of the voting
rights (i.e. 21,152 shares representing voting rights) of these 3.0035 %
