Amendment of the notification on December 23, 2009 according to Article 26,
Section 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG)

Barmenia Krankenversicherung a.G., Wuppertal, Germany notified us in
accordance with Article 21, Section 1 of WpHG that on December 21, 2009 its
holding of voting rights in MLP AG, Wiesloch, Germany increased above the
thresholds of 3 % and 5 % and totalled on that date 6.67 % (corresponding
to 7,197,664 voting rights) of the voting rights. Of these, 0.27%
(corresponding to 290,000 voting rights) are attributable to Barmenia
Krankenversicherung a.G. in accordance with Article 22, Section 1,
Subsection 1, No. 1 of WpHG.
