Correction of the notification dated 8 December 2009

On 07 January 2010, Credit Agricole Asset Management informed us as
follows:

On 10 November 2009, the voting interest held by Credit Agricole Asset
Management, Paris, France, in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft, Bochum,
Germany, exceeded the threshold of 3 %. On that date, Credit Agricole Asset
Management held 3.05 % (5,608,826 voting rights) of the voting rights in
GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft.

Credit Agricole Asset Management directly held 1.20 % of the voting rights
(2,201,648 voting rights) and 1.85 % of the voting rights (3,407,178 voting
rights) were attributed to Credit Agricole Asset Mangement pursuant to sec.
22 para. 1 sent 1 no. 6 WpHG.
