Uns wurde mit Schreiben vom 5. Februar 2010 folgendes mitgeteilt:

1. Gryphon Investment Counsel Inc., Toronto/Montreal, Canada, gives notice
   pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that on 16 April 2008 the voting rights in
   MTU Aero Engines Holding AG exceeded the threshold of 3 % and amount to
   3,11 % (1.618.350 voting rights) as per this date.

These voting rights are attributable to Gryphon Investment Counsel Inc.
pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 (0,13 %, 66.677 voting rights)
and pursuant to sec. 22 para. 2 WpHG (2,98 %, 1.551.673 voting rights).

1. Gryphon International Investment Corporation, Toronto/Ontario, Canada,
   gives notice pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that on 16 April 2008 the
   voting rights in MTU Aero Engines Holding AG exceeded the threshold of 3 %
   and amount to 3,11 % (1.618.350 voting rights) as per this date.

These voting rights are attributable to Gryphon International Investment
Corporation pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 (2,98 %, 1.551.673
voting rights) and pursuant to sec. 22 para. 2 WpHG (0,13 %, 66.677 voting
rights).
